OSPIN is a Berlin based company developing scalable automation solutions for biotechnology. In devices based on our platform users can create and execute bioprocesses from a wide range of application contexts from medical to food technology. We are using IoT technologies to create seamless user experiences with connected devices.

We are interdisciplinary and passionate team of people with the aim of establishing an open bioprocessing platform as the “operating system” of modern biotechnology.

Job description

Your future role consists of following activities:

· Accounting

Within accounting activities you will be in charge of preparing and providing documents for bookkeeping, maintaining comunication with accounting department, and tracking and solving bureaucratic issues.

· Administrative overview of the grant projects

OSPIN participates in many Grant projects, therefore your job would be to keep an administrative overview over these project, maintain communication with funding agencies, perform retrieval of grant payments, report the status of the retrieval process and help in cost calculations within the grant application process.

· Monitoring and maintaining purchasing system

You will be in charge of coordinating and monitoring the compliance in purchasing process, tracking and assigning cost centers of purchases, supporting the team in ordering questions, processing submitted invoices and reporting the status of the purchasing process.

· Other responsibilities

You will be answering phone calls, scheduling meetings and supporting visitors, receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, as well as carrying out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

Experience, education and skills

· Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Management.

· 2+ years of professional experience in Administration.

· Business level proficiency in English language, since you will work in a highly international team.

· Business level proficiency in German language.

· Data entry skills and proficiency in MS Excel.

· Correspondence skills.

· Time management skills.
