We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager who will take our financial planning and analysis, controlling, and accounting functions to the next level. Your goal will be to continuously drive and improve YAZIO’s financial performance and ensure that our financial operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with standards and regulations. This job is 100% remote and can be based in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.

Your Mission

• Develop and improve financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Analyze financial data and provide senior management with insights and recommendations
• Support the accounting function, for example regarding the monthly and annual financial closing processes
• Develop and implement internal control processes to ensure financial accuracy and integrity as well as compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage the cash flow and treasury function, including monitoring cash balances, and managing foreign exchange risk
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CFA, CPA or CMA certification is a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Sound analytical depth and strong technical skills to work with large data sets, perform data analyses, and develop financial models using tools such as Excel, data visualization software or third-generation FP&A tools
• Strong financial analysis skills with experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong accounting skills with experience in managing the financial closing process and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Strong treasury skills with experience in managing cash flow and foreign exchange risk
• Project management experience in finance and cross-functional initiatives
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially regarding the ability to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders
• Ability to simplify and break down complex information into actionable recommendations
• Experience in a mobile-app or SaaS business preferred
