Job Summary/Purpose
Support the Human Rights team in the implementation of the Sandoz Human Rights Strategy in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). Collaborate with the creation and development of tools to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of human rights obligations in the company.
This position is available for a part-time contract (20h/week) for a minimum of 12 months, with possibility of extension. Hybrid work is available.

Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Support the human rights team in various projects, including research on current business and human rights, and labor standards topics at the international, European and countries level.
  • Supporting the team with administrative and communication-related tasks
  • Collaborate with the creation and development of tools to measure the implementation of human rights obligations in the company

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Human Rights, Law, Political Science, Business or similar. Business and Human Rights related courses are a plus
  • Strong interest in social and human rights topics
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to be self-organized and diligent
  • Results-driven and focused, with good problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluent in English

Desirable Requirements:
  • German language skills, knowledge of other languages also helpful
  • Previous internships in the field of human rights are a plus
